The Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) has ordered that all Local Exchange Carriers, in response to the FCC 11-161 R & O, must file a either revised access tariff with the new rates required by the FCC R & O or a notice with an explanation on why they are not required to file a revised tariff. In order to review the tariffs in a timely manner, all filings must be made on or before June 22, 2012. Any carrier may file a revised tariff on any day after June 3, 2012.

After a public review of the FCC 11-161 R & O, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) declined to order carriers to file tariff revisions by June 1, 2012. In its place the PUC has ordered that each carrier must file their tariffs and supporting documentation, to become effective by July 3, 2012, according to each carrier’s regulatory regime. The intrastate access rates governed by the FCC’s order will be subject to a retroactive true-up to July 3, 2012. The PUC will also accept a party’s offer where they have stated intentions to accept early filings of their tariff revisions.
