UPDATE: The webinar series is now available on-demand.
Communications service providers must brace for dramatic operational, financial, and technical changes as the FCC’s intercarrier compensation reforms are implemented.
CCMI’s free two-part webinar series, “Understand the Impact of FCC Intercarrier Compensation Reform,” details the effect of the Federal Communications Commission’s reform of intercarrier compensation rates on service providers’ cost, revenue, and routing management applications.
These webinars will help industry participants understand the provisions and implementation timeline of the Order and, as importantly, the changes the Order requires of service providers’ established applications for cost management, revenue management, and routing management.
The first webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, and the second webinar is scheduled for Thursday, March 22. Both 60-minute sessions will begin at 2 p.m. EDT / 11 a.m. PDT and will include time for audience questions.
The featured speakers for the webinar series include Andy Regitsky, President of Regitsky and Associates, a company that monitors telecommunications regulatory trends and events. Mr. Regitsky, in the first webinar, details the key pieces and implementation timeline of the FCC’s reforms and discusses the legal and regulatory challenges the initiative faces.
In the second webinar, Mr. Regitsky is joined by Derek Canfield, Executive Director of Regulatory and Audit Service with TEOCO, and Michael Beach, Senior Advisor for Regulatory Affairs to Razorsight, two leading companies that provide applications and analytics to major communications service providers worldwide.
Together, in a roundtable discussion, they analyze the financial and operational implications on billing, cost, and routing applications premised on a 30-year-old compensation system that is undergoing radical change.
Both sessions give you the essential information you need now to act on the FCC's Order. You'll also gain a firm understanding of the implications of the legal challenges and regulatory moves that are predicted to occur.
